Finally *ucking Friday

Day 4 of writing every day.

It’s finally Friday! What does that mean? For many who work day jobs full-time, it means we get the weekend, a whole two days of not having to go to our weekday day jobs. If we break it down, it’s the freedom of being allotted time to spend it however we want.

When we finally get time to spend how we like, I believe we use it to get much needed rest and pursue the things that truly interest us. If anyone is fortunate enough to do something that truly is also their passion for a living, then it might be time that they can use as a distraction to get away from everything.

For those trying to get to a better place, time becomes a precious commodity and weekends become the time to get everything done. This could be those studying an advanced degree through online methods to those just studying on their own.

Friday represents a release that many of us look forward to I think, but those too busy to get anything done on the weekdays are likely to see it as a different rush and deadline to get chores done as well.

For me, the stress from work has been getting a bit too much for just the weekend and I decided I needed to take some paid days off to regain my sanity and balance.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend! I’ll be doing what I can to relax, but also take care of things (mostly myself). But I’ll stick with the goal of writing every day too. It’s been going good so far, so I’m going to put the effort in to make it stick!
