Day 58 of writing every day.
After several postponed and unsuccessful efforts to learn to code on my own over the past several years, I proceeded to officially sign up for lessons at a computer school’s web application engineer course. The course is really just 57 hours of material spread out over 38 hours or so of 90-minute lessons that would take 5 months to complete if taken at the minimum required frequency of twice a week.
Maybe it’s the act of setting myself up to do something new. Maybe it’s the hope that I’m taking a leap I should have made years ago but was able to make it in time. It’s a feeling akin to making it onboard minutes before a ship is scheduled to set sail or before a plane is about to take off.
Positivity after a day at work
I guess I’ll grasp at what slivers of light shines through these days that have been tinted with mostly brooding. Nothing sustains our desire to live and push on despite things not going well more than the feeling of and belief in hope.
Work sucked today though and I can’t wait to leave it for something better. But I was glad to find out I’m getting credited with being part of the translation team with a surprise message today. I wasn’t expecting it as it seems to be uncommon from what I heard, so it was something to be positive about. I don’t know when the game will finally be released, but I guess I’ll find out if I’m really in the credits after it is released.
Thanks for reading!
