Day 62 of writing every day.
After writing countless times about going to learn to code to open up doors of opportunity, I’m going to my first lesson next Saturday.
I’ve stated before that I have little time to actually enjoy anything because of my work schedule and that I had cut off a lot of time from gaming to set the time aside for other more productive things I could do and still find enjoyment plus stress relief.
As I sat drinking a cup of coffee and eating donuts at Mister Donut this morning for the first time in what must have been at least half a year, I realized I’d be on the train and making my way to the computer school next week Saturday already in the morning.
I probably won’t be able to have anymore leisurely Saturday mornings until I leave my job and opt to take my programming lessons on weekdays instead of the weekend which is already occupied by Aikido practice. But I think I’ll find experiencing something new, getting out of my room, and learning a skill to be enjoyable.
It gives me hope so I’ll look forward to it, and not dread setting aside time for programming lessons.
Thanks for reading!
