Day 69 of writing every day.
I woke up early for a Saturday due to the first lesson I had scheduled for a programming course. I wasn’t sleepy or anything but I think I wouldn’t have minded sleeping in a little longer. It feels like there’s so much to get done and it’d be better to get busy than drag my feet. Things progress a lot more easily when I’m not doing things on my own but have schedules to meet but that I also have a say over.
Before going to bed
Before I go to bed, I’d say today was probably a meaningful start to what I’m hoping to be a good next stage in my life.
Yesterday I declared myself as having no intent to renew my contract in response to a survey asking contract employees to give a yes or no to whether they want to renew. This was just something in HR seemed to want before the performance review near the end of the contract. I’d say I announced my resignation by that action, but I’ll have to wait and find out if I get a reply when I get back to work on Monday.
