Day 70 of writing every day.
I woke up feeling groggy today and it being quite cloudy from the on and off rain didn’t help my energy levels. Saturday had been packed and I wanted nothing more than to relax and release all the tension built up over the week.
My Sunday schedule was already filled though. I rescheduled a postal delivery that required in-person pick up that came from the city. It turned out to be a local stimulus check of sorts to help residents in the face of inflation. When I opened the envelope, I found five JCB 1000 JPY gift certificates enclosed.
The amount is not much and I’m not sure what city politicians had in mind in regards to this band-aid they sent out.
Anyways I was too busy and tired to get much out today as well.
