Day 75 of writing every day.
I finished writing out my explanation detailing why I didn’t want to continue my job past my current contract period. The manager sent out requests to schedule one-on-one video call sessions for contract employees’ performance review near the end of their contract period before I had a chance to answer his request, so I also left a remark checking to see if setting up was compulsory.
What I wrote ended up being 10 pages but I was able to let everything out and got a lot of weight off my chest as a result. I didn’t really care about length, to be honest. My intent was to be thorough and accurate about how I felt in regards to the jobs I got assigned and the reaction I received from higher-ups.
I didn’t get any real response besides that it’ll get read and thanks for putting it together. Well I don’t really care as long as they don’t find some excuse to cause me trouble for giving my thoughts truthfully without using any offensive language either.
