Day 77 of writing every day.
I started the day off bright and early with the classroom first period of programming lessons starting at 9:20. Having to commute means I usually give myself at least one hour to get from my apartment to the classroom. It might seem like a waste of time if I could learn to program from home by enrolling in an online program instead, but I find having to be somewhere and not being stuck at home all alone to be more motivating.
Honestly, if everything was done online, only a minority of people would thrive. If I remember correctly, there was plenty of news about how a large number of students were falling behind as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic causing schools to close and turn the classroom into Zoom sessions.
Anyways I’m getting ready to go to bed. I was already near my limits by the last period of the 4-period day and there’s only so much I can put in my head in one day. It was 6 hours worth of course time and my neck and shoulders were getting tight from all the desk time.
It was a productive day I think and well spent even if I didn’t get much relaxing done.
