Day 87 of writing every day.
The matter regarding the formality of a statement of resignation letter is waiting to be resolved but I’ve yet to hear back from HR. Well, I wasn’t expecting much from them though. My experience when I first joined the company had me doubting their competency, especially when others who joined later shared their experience of communication mishaps on the part of the company.
This could be due to the bloated size of the company. Imagine trying to manage all your workers spread across multiple locations in Japan from one office dealing with people you’ve never met. These workers aren’t in the same industry and might be part of a subsidiary instead. Add on top a constant stream of people joining and leaving like there’s a revolving door. My guess is it’s all around chaos over there and people are coming and going in HR as well.
After Work
I finally did get a response from HR and was able to confirm that I should be checking off that I’m leaving my job of my own volition for my “resignation request.” Anyways, I’m just glad to be done with it and get it sent out tomorrow. Just a few more days before I rid myself of this job.
If only it were Friday, cause it sure feels like it should be.
