Day 105 of writing every day.
I woke up feeling rather fresh despite a busy Saturday. I massaged and stretched out my legs briefly before going to bed last night but perhaps the osteopathic massage and adjustments are starting to have an effect (still only two sessions so far if counting the initial consultation).
The tightness in my leg can still be felt but not in a glaring way. More like a reminder that I’m not at 100%. But I don’t think there’s anyone who’s really at 100% at any time. After focusing inwards, I also noticed the tightness on the right side of my hip that is probably the biggest problem needing to be fixed in the continuing treatments when looking at things in the long-run.
I didn’t want it to be rainy but there’s no way for me to control the weather, so I just put up with having to get to Kyoto with all my gear plus and an umbrella out, and walk to the Budo center for the Aikido practice at another dojo.
In the end, I think the experience I had today, after spending all of it in Kyoto basically, was a positive one. While the training methods were different, I was able to work with different people and discover things about myself that I think I need to work on.
Fortunately, by the end of the day and after a most satisfying banquet, the rain had stopped so I got back to Osaka dry and will be finishing up things for the night before going to bed so I can start things right tomorrow.
