Day 204 of writing every day.
I don’t have any new interviews scheduled beyond what I have tomorrow Wednesday at the present. My hope is that I’ll get an offer later this week for a second interview that ends with a job offer from the company I interviewed with last Friday that I felt good about.
I’m guessing the second interview I already have scheduled tomorrow might lead to a job offer but I’m not quite convinced they’re a company I want to work for given the absence of any formal OJT and their job posting basically marketing themselves as a stepping stone into the tech industry that supports employees if they decide to go freelance and whatnot.
If all else fails, I’m banking on the position I’m interviewing for that sounds like a desk job at a bank which is in need of an English speaker. If the companies I interviewed with last week that seemed to have a favorable opinion of recruiting me are considering offering me a job, I hope to be contacted by the end of the week.
In the meantime, I’ll be focusing on the IT Passport exam and probably will go to Hello Work to check out if there’s anything new on Thursday should I feel the need to apply for more openings. Wednesday with the job interviews will be taking up my whole afternoon and I think I’ll take the morning slow so I can be focused rather than distracted and tired.
