Day 257 of writing every day.
This year’s July was reported to be the hottest on record, but August remains to be a hot summer month as well. While the ringing in my ear hasn’t seen any noticeable improvements from yesterday, I’m feeling fine. Being outside in the heat and sweating it out isn’t so bad after a week of standby at home. I just dislike how my sweat has a lingering odor that stays on my shirt until it gets washed and this might be age-related since I don’t recall noticing the smell as much even a few years ago.
Besides the sweat, I guess the downside is that the days are growing shorter as well. Summer is ending and transitioning to fall, and it’s only a matter of time before it starts getting dark at 6 pm or so, or even earlier once winter is here.
This cycle of going through the seasons is nothing new, but I guess you gotta make the most out of every season. Every year is a little different, and I’m guessing things will be tipping towards instability as the climate continues to change.
