Revisiting StarCraft Remastered

Day 278 of writing every day.

Needing a change of pace but also wanting to start uploading stuff onto my channel, I decided to give StarCraft Remastered another go. I bought the game over a year ago, I think, and finished playing all the single player campaign missions as well. The game came out in the 90s but was remastered some years ago to make it playable as the real time strategy game classic it is.

With games sold and downloaded online, it’s possible to play the game from Japan but the real Asian market for StarCraft might be South Korea only. The only thing I’m not sure about is why it’s got some notice in Korean that I can’t read at all when I open the game even though the language settings are set to English.

Remastering games isn’t new, but I think StarCraft was well done. Give it a try if you’re interested in gaming. I think the storytelling, while brief and nothing as long as a short novel, does come to life in a way when you play the game. I’ll be uploading my recordings to YouTube in the coming weeks.

Thanks for reading!
