SQL: Structured Query Language 9

Day 284 of writing every day.

It’s Friday and I made it to the weekend.

While I made it to the end of the chapter on tables and finished answering the practice questions, the prospects of an entry level assignment starting on Monday has me excited but a little uneasy.

I was told that I’d be working with Microsoft Access and VBA for Excel if I heard and remembered correctly. While they’re not exactly used by leading edge developers and programmers, they’re still relevant to many businesses to still have some demand.

The working days and hours plus the location of the office are in the range of the ideal schedule I want, so I’ll take the opportunity to learn and experience what the assignment has to offer and also contribute in whatever way I can.

It’ll be good to start getting out of my room to go and work rather than study alone at a cafe once being in my room feels too distracting. If there’s anything I’m not too happy about, it’s the bring your own laptop situation with the assignment. I don’t want to lug around my laptop and put it at risk of getting damaged in the event of some accident or simply speed up it’s getting worn down by the sheer amount of daily use.

I’m still learning but it’s starting to come together for me.

Thanks for reading!
