Slow Recovery 3

Day 316 of writing every day.

Today I woke up feeling better in terms of less discomfort in my throat. I didn’t get as much sleep as I would have liked, but I’ll make do. I got up and got ready for the morning faster than yesterday so I didn’t have to worry about missing my train to work at all.

If anything has changed, it might be the training assignment vibes. One person from my company has departed for some orientation at their assignment and won’t be back until the last day of this month, after which they’ll be reassigned to their kitting assignment from training camp. That means at the start of November there’s only going to be one other person from my company besides me, and the company we’re training with is trying to find extra hands to help out as well.

I’ll be getting up an hour earlier every day for the longer commute to a warehouse when I start my kitting assignment in two weeks. It’s not a pleasant thought but I’m going to have to readjust my schedule quite a bit and have a lot less free time in the morning and night for a few months. I just hope the suffering to come will pay off.

I best try and get some quality sleep tonight as well. I’m feeling like the cold is about to be over since I’ve been getting better throughout the day rather than feeling tired.

Thanks for reading!
