Day 318 of writing every day.
I woke up feeling like I’m no longer sick even if there’s no way to measure or define it precisely. I’m wanting more sleep is all I can say for sure though. My morning routine of washing, breakfast, and feeding the fish went by fast and I was out the door without feeling rushed at all.
Work went by slower than yesterday for whatever reason and I did feel a little irritated by the project feeling a little too disorganized with the lead company’s man still remotely working today due to whatever he’s caught. The idea of working remotely entirely does seem heavenly for some people if you cut out the need to commute and hate being in an office where your coworkers aren’t people you exactly like either. But when the team is mostly amateurs with next to no experience, being able to talk and work things out in person makes work a lot easier given that we need to be on the same page and are designing the system from top to bottom ourselves rather than just following orders from an experienced leader.
After work and Aikido practice, I found my throat feeling a little sore and proceeded to try and hack up whatever it is that’s been bothering me after I got home. To my surprise, the phlegm I coughed up this time was unusually tough and wasn’t washing down the sink with the hair filter in place. I wiped it away with some tissue to see if there was anything particular about it. It seemed like there was some kind of support structure that held it together, which was kind of gross. I don’t think it was food material, but after I hacked it out, my throat felt a lot better.
Maybe I’ll be symptom free tomorrow and that was the last bit of whatever bug that was in me.
