Career Decisions: Things School Did Not Prepare People For / キャリアについての選択:学校で受けた教育は人のための対策にならなかった。

I recently enrolled and finished an online introductory course on Coursera that touched on the subject of Career Decisions or more generally the act of examining yourself to truly understand what it is you want to do.

最近はオンラインラーニングサービスのCourseraでキャリアの選択についての入門コースを受講しました。キャリアについてのアドバイスというか、自分をよく見て分析しないと自分は本当に何をしたいを理解できないことがテーマでした。

The timing was great, as I was already in the midst of job hunting and had been thinking a lot about what I want, not just what I didn’t like in terms of work. Following the course materials, I had something concrete to work with on top of the self-reflection I had been doing.

タイミングとしては最高でした。自分は転職活動の最中で、これから働くことだけではなく、何をしたいかをよく時間をかけて考えていたけど、コースの内容を勉強しながら、具体的な教材を参考にし、顧みることができました。

I wrote my thoughts on the matter in another post, but just wanted to mention that the journey to finding one’s life goals is neverending.

別の投稿にて自分の考えをもっと長く、細かく書いたけど、ここで人生の目標は本当に終わりのない旅だと言いたかったです。
